Make-Up Work
Students are provided with homework assignments in class at the beginning of each semester. It is the duty of the student to READ the chapters and know the information in them.
For World History class the students have daily worksheets due, of which the packets were given to the students the first day of the semester.
For Government and Economics; Students were given a homework list with instructions and deadlines on the first day of each semester.
For all classes: If a student is absent on the day it is due, then it is due the day they return to class. If they "forget" to turn it in, then it is considered late and points will be deducted.If a student has an excused absence on the day of their presentation, they may present it the day they return to class. If they "forget" then it is considered late.
If a student is absent the day ork is assigned, they must check with the teacher the VERY NEXT DAY to get the work. They will have the same number of days to complete an assignment. (This is for all work EXCEPT goup work and presentations.) There is NO make up for missed group work or presentations!!
It is the responsibility of the student to ask for make-up work if they are absent!!
It is the responsibility of the student to complete the homework!!
It is the responsibility of the student to turn in the homework and classwork!!
The student is solely responsible for the grade they earn!!
Please help the student to become responsible!!!
